Kravik er utdannet jurist og har siden august 2024 vært statssekretær i Utenriksdepartementet. Han har lang erfaring fra UD, blant annet som avdelingsdirektør i UDs rettsavdeling samt ambassadesekretær ved Norges FN-delegasjon i New York.

Dr. Siniša Milatović, Business, Human Rights and Peace Specialist with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) headquarters
Milatović serves as the focal point for Business and Conflict in UNDP, having helped to author the UNDP/UN Working Group Guide on Heightened Human Rights Due Diligence for Business in Conflict-Affected Contexts. He also serves as the focal point for the Business Case for Human Rights initiative, having led the development of the “Human Rights vs Competitiveness: A False Dilemma?” Study.

Dr. Jessica de Wolff, Head of Programme at the Helpdesk on Business and Human Rights, a support service provided by the German Federal Government
De Wolff is responsible for positioning the Helpdesk at the intersection of regulatory requirements and companies’ needs of support for implementing these requirements.
Jessica holds degrees in Business Studies and Economics from the Technical University Berlin and the London School of Economics. In addition, she has extensive experience in project financing of large infrastructure projects in the Global South.

Business Model Red Flags
Vice President at Shift Project, the leading centre of expertise on the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights (UNGPs). Shift has been closely involved in shaping international frameworks and regulations, including recent EU legislative developments.
This interactive workshop will support participants to explore how attention to business models can strengthen human rights due diligence by companies and financial institutions. Using the Shift Project Business Model Red Flags resource, the focus will be on moving due diligence beyond issue-by-issue risk identification and mitigation to the effect of commercial strategies and drivers—such as pricing pressure, speed, digitalisation— on human rights impacts and outcomes.

The Access to Remedy Hub at Nottingham University Business School is an knowledge exchange hub that aims to support practitioners in understanding how to design and implement effective non-state-based access to remedy for workers.
Remedies may include apologies, restitution, rehabilitation, financial or non-financial compensation, punitive sanctions, injunctions, guarantees of non-repetition.
The first step for businesses to provide access to remedy is through grievance mechanisms, which are a means through which workers can raise concerns about actual or potential negative impacts caused by business activities.
